Science, Technology and Innovation in Russia: 2018

The publication presents the latest data on research and innovation activity in the country. It contains science, technology and innovation indicators compiled in the sections of general R&D performance, S&T sectors, patents and technology, innovation, international comparisons and bibliometric indicators. The data book is based on statistical information of the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), the Russian Patent Office (Rospatent), the RF Ministry of Finance, the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and bibliometric information provided by the Clarivate Analytics (the databases Web of Science, InCites, Essential Science Indicators) and the Elsevier (the database Scopus).
The brief data book is addressed to the state officials, research community and wide audience.
